Christening Post
This is an experiment! If I've just subscribed to and/or granted you access, you are either on my LJ flist or, more likely, I found you through
kouredios's friending meme from a few weeks ago. Which I just spent forever scanning through, aip. So if I picked you up from there, it likely means we had fandoms in common or, perhaps, that something about you caught my eye.
I'm working off a new premise here.
My current flist on LJ is made of up people I carried over from my original journal on LJ, cultivated through slow growth one person at a time, and I love each and every one of you - in most cases, I've been hanging around you years, through many fandoms. But as we've all thought and discussed in various places recently, LJ - conversation - isn't what it used to be. So I thought, "Let's play! I'll just friend a bunch of random people and see what interesting things and people turn up. It could be heaps of fun." And since I don't use DW but wonder if I would/should, here I am.
If anyone thinking "who the hell is this person who just subscribed to me?" is checking my journal out, here's a bit about me: my journal is primarily fannish. I write; I used to write more. I've written in HP, SGA, and Star Trek AOS, among a few other random ones. Still writing in AOS. My current primary love is Avengers, followed by XMFC. Haven't written any Avengers yet; expect that will change. I also read elsewhere - The Sentinel, Highlander, Sherlock BBC (but I also enjoy watching Elementary (and just got into Person of Interest, not fannish there yet), Merlin, White Collar, etc.
Sometimes I rec. Would like to be more on top of that. I tend to read my flist every day, though, and people on it have brought me so much joy and happiness over the years, both individually and as a group. Personally - I love dogs, cook as a hobby, would rather be warm than cold, and drink almost nothing besides various kinds of tea. Though I do love room-temp apple juice.
So, in sum, hi!

Tea! I love tea. White tea blends in particular. And fannish dialogue. And fanfic, reading and writing. I'm more about avoiding the heat, though. It's all good.
Okay, the room temperature is weird. :-)
Hi!

Oh, yes, I love white tea blends. And green tea blends. And black tea ones, too. I'm on a kick with Republic of Tea Raw Green Bush tea with black currant and cardamom at the moment. Delish. Not as much a fan of herbal teas, though I do drink some. Occasionally. :-)

Tea = I avoid caffeine so that puts a damper on my drinking, but I manage. Decaf green is the drink of choice lately.
Finally, I meant to say that the room temperature *apple juice* is weird. Which it is! :-)

I'm with you on the caffeine. I start in the morning with milky black tea but then switch to green and white and red for exactly that reason. I'd be far too high-strung otherwise.
